Following on from the last post about our much loved Jamie Oliver, I decided that I would share another one of his brilliant recipes with you.
I am a pasta lover, I find it a real comfort, and this particular recipe just makes eating pasta that much more enjoyable. This recipe is titled “Jools Pasta” in Jamie Olivers new book 30 minute meals. It combines sausage meat with a variety of herbs and spices to make a robust ragu sauce in 30 minutes. I really love this recipe, its one for a Sunday night after a hectic weekend, enjoy it with a glass of wine and a good movie in front of the telly.
Now be warned, the method that Jamie uses on his TV programme varies slightly from the book, but the result, no matter which one you follow, is the same, it really is just delicious and so simple to make, you just chuck everything into a blender and whizz up!
Skill? easy, Taste? exceptional, Verdict? it gets a resounding 2 thumbs up!
For full details of the recipe check out Jamie Olivers 30 Minute Meals – its definitely a book that everybody should have on their shelf!
